Happy Halloween! I conclude A Howling Week of Halloween Treats with a full-cast dramatic reading of William F. Barrett’s chronicle “Investigation of a Haunted House in Worcestershire.” Barrett’s ghost hunt occurred in 1914, and his article about it was published early the following year in the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research.
Knowing several actors looking for something to do during this pandemic, I arranged for four of them to video themselves enacting the “parts” in Barrett’s narrative. You’ll see what I mean.
You can also find this at the Brom Bones Books YouTube channel, which is where you’ll find several other spooky videos.
If you’ve stopped by here each day this week, my heartfelt thanks! I hope my treats have helped make this crazy year’s Halloween a bit more fun and a bit more frightening!
